Es gibt ein animiertes Google Doodle am 10.Juni 2013. Es ist ein weltweites Google Doodle über Maurice Sendak. Sendak war ein amerikanischer Illustrator und Autor von Kinderbüchern. Er wurde vor allem mit seinem Buch „Wo die wilden Kerle wohnen“ (engl.: „Where the Wild Things Are“) berühmt. Er gewann zahlreiche Preise wie den Astrid Lindgrend Gedächtnisaward oder die National Medal of Arts im Jahr 1996. Sendak starb im Alter von 83 Jahren an den Folgen eines Schlaganfalls am 8.May 2012.
Google puplished again an animated Google Doodle on 10th June, 2013. It is a worldwide Google Doodle about Maurice Sendak. It celebrates the 85th birthday of Sendak. The Doodle shows some characters of Sendak's most famous children's book „Where the Wild Things Are“. It is one of the most famous picture books of all time. Sendak was an illustrator and writer of children's books like this. He received a lot of awards for his work like the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Anwards or the National Medal of Arts in 1996. Sendak died last year on the 8th May of 2012.
